C Team

Coach Jaamal Mason is a native of La Place, LA and earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Southern University and A&M College in 2006. Coach Mason began his coaching career with the Zachary Legendz Junior Broncos in 2014 as an Assistant Coach for the B-Team. In 2015, Coach Mason helped lead the B-Team to the Playoffs. In 2017, he transitioned to head coach for the D-Team and led his team to the playoffs against the Live Oak Eagles after an awesome football season. Coach Mason prides himself on being dedicated to his players. He consistently pushes his team to excel on and off the field, while stressing the importance of enjoying the game. Coach Mason motivates his players by building strong individual relationships and his love of football, along with a desire to teach young athletes the importance of self-improvement and pushing beyond their limits became a perfect match. Coach Mason has been married to his wife Latoya for 9 years. They have two sons, Jace and Jaxon who are both active in Jr. Bronco Football.
